Fingerprints are banned. We never used them anyway.

KVKK decision 2026/921: fingerprint and face recognition for attendance tracking are unlawful even with explicit consent. (KVKK is Türkiye's personal data protection law and authority.) Our time and attendance runs on QR + location + portal + manual entry, so you are compliant without changing hardware. Each day's records are sealed with a KamuSM timestamp, so you can prove they were not changed afterwards.

Clock-in methods

No special hardware needed

An ordinary wifi tablet on the wall shows a QR code that refreshes every 30 seconds, so a screenshot is useless. There is also location-verified clock-in, one-tap portal clock-in for the office, and authorised manual entry. With no signal, the record is queued offline and processed when the connection returns.

Shifts

Fixed and rotating

Shift schedules, working days and terminals are defined per workplace. Late arrivals, early departures and missing days show on the daily screen.

Correction flow

No manual back-dating

For a wrong record, the employee opens a correction request, which goes through manager and HR approval. The audit report separately lists manual interventions, back-dated entries and users who touched their own record.

Payroll bridge

Timesheet to payroll in one click

At month end, days worked, absences and the overtime proposal are transferred to the payroll timesheet. Overtime hours also count towards the 270-hour annual limit, and the portal, not the attendance device, tells you when an employee is approaching it.

Turnstile integration (API)

Your existing hardware connects

If you have turnstiles, keep them: your attendance software pushes entries and exits to the portal with a scoped API key, and staff changes flow to the hardware instantly via webhook. In/out sequence validation and per-person error reports are standard; just hand the integration document to your attendance vendor.

Like an app on your phone

Add to home screen

With "add to home screen", the portal opens like an app on the phone, and employees clock in and out with location verification in one tap. In line with KVKK, no data is cached on the device.

Timestamp · KamuSM

Records are sealed, so "it was changed afterwards" claims fall away.

Clock-in records are evidence in reinstatement lawsuits and SGK inspections; their value depends on showing they were not changed later. The portal seals each day's records with a TÜBİTAK KamuSM timestamp. You download the evidence file from the portal; the stamp carries KamuSM's signature and can be verified independently of us. Nothing to apply for and no device needed on your side.

FAQ

Common questions

We have fingerprint devices. What should we do?
The KVKK principle decision of 29 April 2026 found processing biometric data for attendance tracking unlawful even with explicit consent, and pointed to card/PIN, mobile apps and RFID/NFC as alternatives. Our portal already runs on QR code + location + portal + manual entry. You don't need new hardware; simply switch the existing devices off.
Most of our staff work in the field. Can they use it on their phones?
Yes. There is no cut-down "mobile version": every screen is the same portal and works on a phone. With no signal in the field, the clock-in is queued on the device and sent when the connection returns.
Do I need to do anything for the timestamp?
No. The portal seals the records automatically every day. In a lawsuit, an inspection or an employee dispute, you simply download that day's evidence file from the Timestamp Evidence screen.

Take the devices down, hang up a tablet.
